Bridesmaid Dress

I am in a wedding in October, I will be 8 months at the time, how many sizes larger should I order my dress?  I am normally a 10-12 depending on the style (I have a large chest and a small waist).  I am thinking a 16 or maybe 18.  I just have no idea.

Im currently 16weeks and will be 8months in oct, my best friends wedding. I ordered my dress last week and we went up 3 sizes, better to be too big than too small. Try to order as close to the wedding date as possible. Unfortunately for me, the color my bf picked is being discontinued,  thats why I had to order it now. Good luck!

Im in the same boat. I have a wedding to be in may 31st that I am a bridesmaid in also. I will be 8 in a half months. What I did was when we were fitted for the dress they put a pillow specially made for this kind of issue under my belly to estimate my size for when the Date rolls around. It helped a lot. Of course I has to get it fitted according to belly so the rest of dress is huge which no prob they can alter that.  Hope this helps. Good luck :)

My mom actually tried the dress on for my wedding... its very stretchy so I would say try it on and see what kind of room you have and ask the consultant, they have experience

Buy one a size 16-18 like you said and if its too big then take it to a tailor. It will probably be big in places like your arms or around your chest. So you'll have to get it tailored.

Thank you for the advice. Maybe I will call the store and see what they suggest.

I think you should order about 4-5 sizes up and you could always get it altered once the comes

I think you might have a problem with the fact that it's not a maternity dress

That's a tough one. Every woman is different.  Some stay within their size pre pregnancy and some don't.  My best advice is get a big size and if it too big around the time of the wedding then you can always get it altered.
