Caffeine, anyone?

Pregnancy is hard.  LOL  And different doctors recommend different thing regarding caffeine.  Did you give it up, limit it or go for it whenever you are in need?

I didn’t change my caffeine intake much at all. I drink about 2 cups of coffee and 1-2 sodas a day and I’m on baby #3. All healthy and happy. I would ask your doc though I don’t want to give you bad advice but if you feel like you need it and your not chugging like Red Bull’s or having coffee back to back I think you will be just fine.

My doctors tells women TWO caffeine drinks a day.  My sister had a cup of coffee and a coke.  We went to the same doctor.  I took about 75 years to get pregnant it seemed so stayed away from all caffeine even while TTC. So, I didn't have any.  :>)

I switched to decaf. I drink coffee for the taste not the caffeine, so it didn't bother me to make the switch.

I've always given it up- but I'm not a coffee drinker and never had it every day anyway, so it wasn't that much of a stretch for me.  Mostly just not having tea that has caffeine in it, and avoiding the rare caffeinated soda I would have every once in a while.
