Cervidil??

So I've been having contractions for over a week now, and I'm just not progressing. I'm going in on Thursday to the hospital to have cervical inserted in hopes I will still have a vaginal birth! I was just seeking advice from those mommies who have had this procedure done and what your experience was with it. Thanks in advance :-)

I had it done 2 days in a row. The first night it did nothing but had contractions all day long plus they gave me poticin so the next night I got it again. I gave birth to my baby almost 12 hrs later

I had it with my first! They kept it on overnight... my water broke in the morning and i delivered 3 hours later! ..... soooo it worked really well for me! My Dr. Barely made it in time to catch her lol. No time for any pain meds either. Intense, and really fast.

I had this done with my first child as the first stage of induction. Unfortunately, it didn't help me thin out at all I still had a csection. One heads up is that it does make you very tender up there :(
