Chinese Food?

Has anyone ever heard of Chinese food kick starting labor?? Out of all the things that r repeatedly said I've read this one way only once. Wondering if anyone has heard of it?

Yeah i have heard of this but its got to be very spicy to wor...other things that can help induce labour is pineapple,raspberry leaf tea and sex

that sounds like a myth to me. What about all the chinese and other women living in china. wouldnt they be constantly in labour?

I've heard the same for spicy food. but that also sounds unlikely cuz some types of cuisine like Indian or Mexican are inherently spicy and millions of pregnant women have eaten such cuisine regularly during pregnancy.

Not sure I believe it.  I had chamomile tea the night I went into labor with my first pregnancy.   My aunt said it should kick start it, but I think it was more coincidence as I was 39wks pregnant.

I never tried it but my mother told me she ate alot of chinese food the same day she went into labor with me

I had shrimp lo mein fried rice and egg roll hoping it works... And sex lol but that was my at home menu :)

I heard the same thing and tried it with my last pregnancy. I had the ginger beef for dinner. .. went into labor 4am that next morning. Idk if it was related but I think it helped me :)
