Coffee???

So I have always LIVED off of coffee. I would buy 3 or 4 a day and then make a cup when I got home from work. Since I found out I was pregnant I cut down a lot of caffeine. I buy one coffee in the morning the days I go to work, and I have none on my days off. Being pregnant I am tired ALL the time. Anybody have any suggestions for a pick me up? By 2pm I feel like I am just done for the day.

Hi Ashley! The book I'm reading says you can have 200 mg of caffeine a day..  So I just Google whatever I want to drink to check the caffeine content. I have soda and coffee here and there but teas help as well.

Pregnancy guides list that 140mg of caffine is fine. That equals to like.... Well a Keurig cup of coffee is usually around the 45-55mg . If you can limit it down to just one a day, and then supplement with other protiens, you should be golden :)

The only symptoms I'm getting with this pregnancy is sore breasts and being exhausted all the time. I don't think I could cut out caffeine all together on my work days. I work with the elderly... They can be quite demanding and have you running around like a nut haha

If your worried about the caffine try peanuts, any protiens will give you a boost without the risk to the baby. I feel your pain, i cut caffine completely, can't wait to have coffee again
