Cramps at 18 weeks?

I guess I would call it cramps. For the past 2 or 3 days my abdomen has been achy and tender and tight from navel to pelvic bone. Sometimes it is tighter and achier like cramps and I have to just sit or lie down for a bit. Its in the middle, not to one side. It seems worse at night, esp. when I get up to go pee. Its not bad enough for me to be super alarmed, and I have an appt Wednesday so I'll ask about it then. But its definitely noticeable and uncomfortable. I have been more active and on my feet more for the past few days... Might be contributing factor. Thought I was still early enough that activity wouldn't really matter, though. Anyway. Is navel to pelvis pain normal? It didn't sound like round ligament pain but maybe it is?

Wow OK, thanks! I guess I wasn't expecting contractions for quite a while yet. Could be what it is though.
