Did you wait to share the news?

It's long been an "unofficial" rule to wait to tell others about your pregnancy until after the first trimester- mostly due to a fear of miscarriage, but there are some who are speaking out about what they feel are harms of waiting.  They are concerned that waiting to share the news may make women afraid to discuss a miscarriage- if it does happen.  Being able to talk about it, can be a healthy part of the grieving process.

Did you wait to share your news or did you go ahead and tell others?  What was your reason for waiting or for going ahead and sharing?
