Dogs sense labor?

I am 34 weeks and i have a 2 year old pit/shepherd he is very sweet and usually he is more attached to my husband than me. But for the last two days he has been following me everywhere i go! Even when i go to the bathroom and thats really odd because he will not go in the bathroom since he knows thats where we give him a bath.so i was wondering can dogs sense labor???

I think that's why pit has been very whinny this past week. I've had tons of contractions/braxton hicks.

I have a black lab German Shepherd mix and her pup that is mixed with yellow lab and both of them have started licking my belly. My girl is usually up my husbands butt but she has been listening to me better lately. She wasn't like that at the beginning of my pregnancy but now that I'm 38 weeks she is. She can also sense when im having my braxton hicks contractions.

Yes they can my best friends dog is kind of nonsocial but for like 4 days when my friend was pregnant with her daughter her dog followed her everywhere including the bathroom just as you're saying on that 4th day my friend woke up having some pain but just thought it was braxton hicks again her dog followed her to the bathroom and when my friend got up off of the toilet her water broke her little girl was born 10 hours later :)

My cat lays on my tummy & plays a version of patty cake with the baby. When he kicks, she pushes back with her paws. Its adorable until she gets too heavy & I have to move her (she's a chunker). My male cat is completely oblivious though. Dumb as a box of rocks, that one.

We have two mastiff boxer mixes that are 4 and they both could sense almost right away about the baby but the past week or so they are 10times worse. The boy is now almost tripping me because he wants to walk, sit and sleep with me (80lb boy) and my girl is getting very protective, barking at anyone she doesn't know. The other day I was watching a show in my room and a baby was crying and she launched herself off the bed and ran into the nursery and sniffed the bed thinking he was the one crying... My husband had to pick her up so she could see he wasn't here in the bed... Took 10 minutes to get her out of the room. I remember with my daughter 3 years ago they spent 90% of their day sitting by her or me and would get so concerned when she cried...

Also when my water started leaking with my daughter my dogs let me know something was different before I realized... Sniffing my crotch and just acting panicky... They'll let you know

I was wondering the same thing. I have a Havapeke (Havanese and Pekingnese mix) and he's my baby so he's always been more attached to me than anyone else. But I'm 37 weeks now and the last three days he is beyond attached. He used to have to lay next to me but now he lays ON me even when it's hot. If I tried to kiss his face he would turn his head but he now wants to shove his face in my face and lick me. He gets mad when the other dog tries to get attention from me. And he follows me every step I take! I was hoping he's sensing labor coming. Not just pregnancy. Please let that be it! Lol

I pretty sure they sense something. My pitbull has been acting like that since I was 28weeks which is when I had pre term labor.  Im 33 weeks and a few days now. He lays next to me at night in bed, follows me every where even to get mail, he lays his head on my belly when I'm on the couch then when she goes gets rolling he just licks my belly or he just lays there. He has this look in his eyes that something is about to go down. He's also been very whinning this past week.

They can. I have a 2yr old lab/pit mix and he's been up my butt constantly the past few months. Sometimes he sniffs and licks my belly. Its cute. I also have a cat that usually keeps to herself and she's been the same way.
