How soon after your first visit did you have to go back? I just had my first and they want to see me again in a week and a half..

I'm guessing that when you go back, you will review blood work and have your 12 appointment. If there are no complications then you will be seen every 4 weeks until 28 weeks.

I visited with my nurse at 8 weeks. Made sure all my info was still current, asked questions and did bloodwork. I went back a week later and met with the dr. To go over the results of the bloodwork and do a sono.

They told me everything thing was great. So im confused about why i need to go back so soon.

Im 9 weeks my first appointment they did blood work, ultrasound, pap smear...

I went to confirm found out at 6weeks,  scheduled my first US for the next week,  then had an appt every 4weeks since then:)

Was your first appointment to establish your pregnant? The next appt could be to date the pregnancy. I would think there after you would go about every 4 weeks until ypu get closer to the end. Unless you are having complications

I had my first appointment, a nurse visit, when I was 10 weeks.  I went back 2 weeks later for the first doctor appointment at 12 weeks.
