Dreading bed time....

I cannot for the life of me get comfortable. I am 30 weeks. I can't sleep on my stomach because baby kicks me and its not all the comfortable. I can sometimes wedge a pillow under part of my stomach and manage to get a little sleep. I can't sleep on my sides very long because my arms go numb... And I can get comfortable, sometimes, laying on my back but they say not to sleep on your back... I have so many pillows on my bed trying to position them in anyway to get comfortable. My husband complains because he feels like he cant touch me with all the pillows around me. I know I still have a ways to go and it will get worse from here. Anybody have any tips?

I feel you!! I've got 8 pillows on my bed, hubby gets two of them :) I still can't get any sleep, its not my arms, but my hips. Between that and my other two kids who can't seem to sleep in their own beds...im lucky to get 3 to 4 hours tops a night and a half hour nap during the day. And that's only cuz my eyes just shut....just think after the first few months MAYBE we will be able to get some sleep ( that's what I keep telling myself anyways )

If you dont have a long body pillow I would suggest that. The straight ones are pretty cheap.  It will declutter the bed a bit at least.  My first pregnancy I was like you but the last two I have used body pillows.  I still have bad nights but overall I am much better.  I sometimes use the pillow behind me and sometimes in front of me.

Try set you pillows up so that you are kinda in a sitting position.  Like one of those hospital beds. That helped me with my last pregnancy. As for hubby he  might have to put up with it for a little while, try snuggling during the day on the  couch.
