Early labor!!
So just got discharged from l&d and am a little annoyed. Im 37 weeks today, went to doctor monday andcwasnt effaced or really dialated. Today started having string contractions around 12:30 that became 3-5min apart. Went to hospital and was dialated 2cm abd 50% effaced then walked and got to 3cm with contractions (painful) every 5-6 min. So since I didnt progress fast enough they sent me home with the contractions and everything, so now im laboring at home so hopefully in a few hours ill be back at l &d and have made some progress!!!!
Update: so after contracting for over 24 hrs everywhere from 2-11min apart and stalling here and there I still am at home!! I lost my mp for sure had a bunch of bloody, mucous discharge. .tmi sorry, so that means somethings happening I just need to get these contractions regulated!! Cant find raspberry leaf tea and really dont want to do the castor oil, but getting desperate, been walking, squats (the best I can), took a nice hot shower, napped cleaned up around the house again the best I could lol. And they just refuse to regulate but still wanna come. I don't want to go vack to l&d just to be turned away but the paib is up there!

Ok, so ive been home since about 10pm. Still contacting, they slowed for about 2 hours and picked back up arpund 4am and now I have intense back and leg pain. Hubby is at work now and im home alone so afraid to do squats but im going to take a shower and see what happens. I will update soon hopefully with a birth story!!
My doc told me today wait two hours once your contractions are five minutes apart before going to the hospital for a much less likely chance of being sent home.

Same here. 39 weeks and 2 centimeters n 50% effaced. First time going to l&D yoday n got sent home. Having little contractions but she said I need to be having the ones where they are so strong you can breathe in order to go back! Any suggestions?!!
I'm in a similar situation, I'm 3cm dialated n 90% effaced but contractions have been infrequent. How many squats would you ladies suggest?
I'd say have a little quality time with dad and then shower and squat but pains are to bad just shower and go! Always work for me this will be baby number 4 for us definitely our last lol
Yeah I know wat u mean this is my 5th baby my 1st was twins so I had my girls at 35 weeks n 6 days n they broke my water with my son at 39 weeks n the same with my daughter n I have a new dr n she said she's goin to wait until my water breaks on its own n I'm scared to death that when it does I wnt make it in time to get my stuff I dnt know wat to do but I'm 34 weeks n 1 day today n it feels like she wants out now.
That happened to me with my first child. I was 1cm dialated and they sent me home. I came back an hour later and they were annoyed with me, and saying to go back home cause I'll just get released and sent home. Little to their surprise i was 8cm dialated and ready to push. So the joke was on them.
Just take a warm bath, but not for to long. If you can, try to do some squats. And you'll be ready soon. Once you feel like you have to poop go back to the hospital your baby will be ready then.

Ya these are so strong I cant walk talk move, they are strong enough that it gives me a headache and nauseous. Still 5 min apart. We will see, this is baby #3. First I was over due and the second was born at 36 weeks.
I'm 34 weeks today n Im at a 2 n havin them n the dr send me home so I been home havin labor pain for a week now they hurt so bad that half of the time I cnt breath :-(
