oh wow, well that's good news! hopefully if it's necessary things will go well for me too! & you had to have surgery 4 weeks later?! geez.. maybe we do have the same luck! lol
& if our babies have the SAME birthday I just may pee myself!! haha lol!!
I had a great experience. I wasn't sore long but was told no sex or driving for 6 weeks. I didn't make it...on either. 4 weeks after the c-section, I had my gallbladder removed. I hope you don't go over! Mayberour babies will have the same birthday. :)
10 days after?!! geez.. that baby was wayyyy too comfortable in there!! lol
if this baby moves anywhere near as much as it was on the ultrasound the other night, hopefully it'll kick it's way out of here sooner than later! he/she would NOT sit still!! lol praying that's a good sign!
I hope things go smooth for you this time as well! how's the healing process with a cesarean??
Yes, just write everything down. They encourage questions. They are there to answer them and put your mind at ease. I had a cesarean the first tone bc I went in to be induced 10 days after my due date and 24 hours later, still had no progress. :/
Yay! It took me about 6 weeks to find a doctor. I know thatvis a huge weight off your shoulders :)
oh wow, that is amazing! my mama used to work at a florist for quite a while.. I miss that smell!! lol at least you can enjoy CANDY with this baby, no flowers! haha
I'm praying, hoping this baby is OUT before Halloween.. I'm curious about how likely I'll be to carry him/her 40 weeks and/or more.. simply b/c I do want to know EXACTLY what all would contribute to having to have a cesarean?
other than this hemorrhage I have, I also have a colon disease that is just AWFUL sometimes, and I'm not sure how safe it'll be for me to go through labor with it.. plus pain medicine makes my colon flair up sometimes, and it just goes down hill from there..
so yeah, I obviously have a LOT of questions for my OB.. hope she's prepared!! cause I've been through a lot in general & I'm not going to miss a step! lol I know high blood pressure is a big indicator.. preeclampsia? not sure what else..
Yes, I love having someone close to my due date! I'm having a repeat cesarean and they told me they do that around 39 weeks so it will probably be the week before. We are very excited for our Halloween baby! My son was born 2 days after Mothers Day...this year his bday falls on mother's day. It shouldn't matter but I'm a florist so I'm working 20 hour days around his bday. So glad the second one isn't due around a flower holiday!
oh, and I wish.. we live in SC & I probably couldn't move THAT far away from home lol! it sounds amazing though!
due Oct. 25th! my 26th birthday is Oct. 11th so.. super excited for this birthday!! lol -- always wanted a Fall baby.. we can't wait to celebrate Halloween (hopefully), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's with this baby!! lol
we're HUGE on holidays & so thankful.. can't believe we're so close in due dates?!! at least we can share our journey together!!! that's so exciting! ((:
I'm in Michigan. The Upper Peninsula to be exact. That had to have been hard for you!! I hope you get to see yours n when are you due again? Oct 27/28 here.
really?!! don't tempt me, we're already looking for somewhere to move!!! what state are you in?!!! lol
awe, really?! that's so neat! I hope your appointment goes well too! I hated I had to see our baby under the circumstances we were in, but that first time hearing/seeing him/her was the most bittersweet moment of my life.. maybe I can see it all over again tomorrow!! lol
let me know how it goes! I hope you get to see your sweet baby too!!!
My hospital is BRAND NEW too! You should just move here! Haha! I hope you're appointment goes well tomorrow. Mine is at 3:30, hoping to see and hear this baby!
oh gosh, I WISH I was that lucky.. the hospital around here is awful. one of the nurses in the ER actually graduated ahead of me in high school.. and my fiancé didn't bite his tongue! just awful.. of course there are some exceptions.. like my ultrasound tech. -- one of the most amazing and professional, sweet women I've ever met!
BUT, I would NEVER, ever ever ever deliver or accept any advice from anyone @ our hospital! my OB is about 10 min. or less from the hospital.. not sure if her office or the hospital is closer to us, but either way.. it's better than the alternative!! lol
very happy for you! hope all turned out well, and please keep us in your prayers! (((:
I'm very lucky, I love the hospital I go to, about a 10 minute drive from here. Plus the clinic is in the hospital so I never go anywhere but there the entire time. They also ordered my lab work when I was there last week (urine and blood tests) but I just finally went and did it today.
I don't EVEN know what igg is?! lol definitely need to read up on a few things!
and yes, I'm preparing a list of questions just in case I do get to sit down with her, just so anxious to have some answers!
thank you so much, and please keep us in your prayers!
ohhh okay! well yeah, I'm kind of thinking I MAY get to sit with the doctor just b/c of my diagnosis at the ER, but you're right.. every place is so different, I wasn't thinking about that.
hopefully I can at least get some questions answered, b/c the ER/hospital in general around here s u c k s, hence the reason why I'm going 20 miles away!
Likely transvaginal us, Urine analysis, possible urine culture. Cbc and chem, possible igg for rubella and some others.
The questions are all up to what you want to know. Dose the placenta cover the inner os? What kind of restrictions should you be on given the bleed etc. What I would want to know might not be what you would need to know.
Glad you got your appt. Hope ask goes well.
Oh and my appointment last week was all medical history and they did the std testing. They would've done a pap too but my last one was recent enough.
Where I go, your first appointment is not with the doctor. Just the nurse and PA. I had that last week. Tomorrow is my first appointment with the doctor where she will do the vaginal ultrasound. I'm sure every place is different tho.
