FREAKING OUT!! WHAT DO I DO?!

I am 9 weeks and 5 days. Ive had 3 past miscarriages. I went to the bathroom a few hours ago and saw pink blood in the toilet and when I wipe. And now every time I go to the bathroom. I called my doctor and she said there is nothing they can do right now and to call backif it gets heavier. I told them this is how my last miscarriages started!! This is ********!! Should I just go to the ER to get checked?! I cannot deal with this and the not knowing!!

I'm sorry for your loss. I just wanted to recommend that you look into progesterone supplements. The past few years I had 3 miscarriages all early on & no doctor ever mentioned it but this pregnancy I was put on progesterone by a new doctor until week 10 & now I'm 33 weeks. I had multiple extensive tests done & nothing was ever detected but low & behold I was not producing enough progesterone for the baby to stick to the uterine wall. Just wanted to share in case it's what effecting you. Best wishes hun.

casey,  I'm so sorry.  It did seem that this was probably going to be the outcome,  but when you finally get the bad news it's just so sad.

Are they going to give you a chance to  miscarry naturally?  If you are able to do it,  it's so much easier on your body than undergoing a DNC.

Best wishes.  I hope you heal quickly and get answers for why this is happening.

I know what ur going through I also had two miscarriages this year.....but I started to think I needed to do my homework before getting pregnant again because its only obvious there was something wrong with me that caused me to have repetitive miscarriages......Well they discovered I had a med size fibroid and I had surgery a month ago....then I will not try to conceive until I take care of myself until I eat right and take lots and lots of supplements that are good for fertility Im also working out and drinking lots of water. Stop getting pregnant and make sure your body is healthy enough for pregnancy we need to be a little more responsible. If you need help contact me!! Ill be happy to help you....I will be starting to conceive in January yaaay!!

Try not to stress too much at the er they will always give you the diagnosis threatened miscarriage if you are bleeding and they cannot find out why

Remember, once a heartbeat is detected the chance of miscarriage drops significantly. I had 4 miscarriages then one day, with my daughter all of a sudden I started bleeding. Had no pain. I went to the ER. It turned out I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. It's when the sac tears a bit from the wall lining. I carried my daughter to full term and she's now 2 and terrible :) I wish you the very best. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

Thanks Rockrose. I am also very confused about the measurements. But the er doctor said there was a heartbeat so everything is going good. I just don't want false hope. But I can only hope for the best and believe that this pregnancy will work. I was going to get testing for my MCs but this pregnancy was unplanned and very unexpected so I didn't have a chance to. I'm beginning to think something is seriously wrong with me and I'll never be able to have another child. I just wish I knew what. The doctor did say at 6 weeks my progesterone levels were perfect so idk.

casey,  I'm sorry you're having to go through this.  The waiting and wondering is so painful.

It does sound likely that this will end in miscarriage.  I'm not sure what the ER doc was talking about,  but if the baby has already begun demise - the difference between your 7 week and 9 week sonograms are a real concern - there really isn't anything they can do at this time.   There is some hope,  that by some miracle the sonogram was actually incorrect and there hasn't been a slow down in growth and your baby is fine.

I had two early miscarriages and the doctor told me there was nothing that could be done,  and they don't take any measures to save a failing very early pregnancy because it just prolongs the distress and the inevitable outcome.

If you were 20 weeks pregnant, the doctors would move mountains to save your baby because there are hopeful outcomes at that time.

If this turns out to be a failed pregnancy,  you need help before you get pregnant again.  Four miscarriages indicates a problem that can probably be solved next time - like with progesterone therapy.

Best wishes and prayers for you during this time,    and praying for a miracle that the sonograms were wrong.

I do believe in miracles and I'm trying so hard to stay positive but this is so sadly familiar. But then again when this happened all the other times they could not find a heartbeat. So my fingers are crossed that my baby survives and we make it through this!! I just don't know if it will happen BC this bleeding does not seem normal :(

Thanks for all the responses ladies I really appreciate it. They did a pelvic exam and my cervix was closed which surprised me. I don't understand where all this blood is coming from?? They did a ultrasound and said they saw a heartbeat but I couldn't see it. But said I was only measuring around 8weeks 1day when my ultrasound 2weeks ago said 7weeks 2days. So I am very confused and scared. They did say it was a threatened mc and to stay off my feet and see my doctor in a few days. I have my ob intake on Monday so I'm guessing they will make me wait until then since my doc told me there is nothing they can do. Which is bs BC the er doc told me to see my on within 48hours. So idk I'm so lost and confused. My bleeding is heavier and I'm cramping :/

Go to the ER. When I had my miscarriage I went and they did a pelvic exam to see where the bleeding was coming from. Then I was sent to get an emergency ultrasound to see if baby was still there or alive so that they may be able to sew up my cervix.  When we saw that baby was no longer viable I was sent for blood tests to see what my hormones where at.

They'll do an ultrasound and probably say "threatened miscarriage" and tell you to stay in bed until the bleeding stops or if it gets heavy to go to the er again. I really hope everything is ok :(  I went into labor at 15 weeks last time and I was home alone, I passed the baby while my husband was trying to get home to me - they're traumatizing- I'm so sorry you've gone through this 3 times :(
