I just found out I'm pregnant. Went today for an ultrasound to see how far along and there was only a sac and no fetus.  Dr drew blood to check my hcg levels because he believes im very early in the pregnancy. But calculating the date od conception and start of my laat period, it was about a month ago. What stage/ how many weeks into the pregnancy does heart/brain/organs starr form?

I am almost 5weeks and my doctor said I can have an ultrasound after I hit 5weeks to determine how many... I don't think we will be able to see baby at this point, just sac. He also said that my hcg numbers need to be around 1200 for them to see anything via ultrasound. So it's good they are doing bloodwork.

Exactly what the other person said.  Right now, you're technically 4 weeks, but in reality, baby has only been growing for 2 weeks.  Still super tiny.  You won't see anything until week 7/8.  I don't know why they even scheduled your first appointment that early, to be honest.  If they were going off your lap, they shouldn't have made an appointment until sometime next month.

They dont schedule til atleast 8/9 weeks but i misjudged last period

My doctor said get a scan 8 or 9 weeks as earlier you may not see anything and can freak you out
