First pregnancy and scared (Sorry so long)

I'm 27. I started my period on 11/25/14 first week or so it was super light spotting, then on to normal.. now that it is 12/12/14, and it hasn't stopped and in addition to moderate-severe cramps at random times, I went to my ob today. Did a urine sample and the dr came in and told me I was pregnant. I can't describe how happy/excited I felt, yet scared at the same time because I've been bleeding quite a bit. Had a transvag u.s and he said they didn't see anything. I know the day I had to conceive because it's only been the one time since my last cycle and I'm always quite regular, and we made sure that one time was during ovulation. So that would make me 5weeks. I have to go have back for another hcg test Sunday, dr didn't want to diagnose too soon. I'm so scared it's ectopic.. I don't even know if there is any hope that it's not. Sorry for this being so long.. Haven't even been able to tell my hubby because he works 24hr shifts and it's not something I want to do while he's on the job.

Don't lose hope just yet! When I was pregnant with my second child I had my period during the first trimester along with cramping. It can be a scary thing when it's your first pregnancy, but all you need to do is keep hope okay? I really hope everything turns out okay for you!

I wouldn't worry just yet i was getting my period thru most of my first trimester didn't actually find out i was pregnant till the very end of the first now im 8 months and everything is fine.. It could be yur body getting rid of the extra lining yu dont need.. I donno that's what i heard it could be
