Food restrictions

I really want to go out for a deli or sub sandwich so bad! Thoughts? I know you're advised not to but I'm early, like 8wks and would like ask my midwife but my apt isn't until the 4th. Anyone get a chance to ask their doctor/midwife/obgyn?

I had that issuse I found out its the listeria bacteria that can grown on cold meat. So if you get your meat warmed  at least 30 secs you can enjoy!!

You can look up Subway nutrition. The following sandwiches don't have nitrates: meatball, steak and chicken.

As long as you get toasted to piping hot, you sound be good. My doctor said subway is fine as long as they toast it really well and you can see the steam

I have had several sandwiches without being warmed in moderation. Its ur choice I don't think one sandwich or two will kill u.

This is the first time I am hearing anything about deli meat restrictions while pregnant. This is my 4th baby and so far so good with all of them including this one. I would say moderation will be the key.
