Frantic Packing

So I am 25 years old, FTM, & Baby Boy is due in 19 days. My MD says since I want to go all natural he is willing to let me go up to 2 weeks after my September 26th due date. I won't mind, but it just hit me that my boyfriend & I haven't packed a thing. Time has gone by so fast I can't believe it's almost time. So I am wondering, what all will I need? Any suggestions on what shouldn't take? I tend to overpack, & live about 5 minutes from the hospital.

Underwear. I put mine over the mesh ones. The mesh didn't feel like they were holding anything together.

I had my baby thursday. Ask the hospital for a suggestion on what you should bring. They have clothes, diapers, formula, and everything you need for the baby there. I wore my gown the whole time because I didn't see the need to wear clothes when the nurses kept coming in to check me. I wore the hospital pads but I packed my own. The ice pack kind really help for us girls who go natural. I packed nursing bras but ended up not using them because my baby is in the nursery still.

Pack like you're putting together toiletries for a hotel stay. Pack a robe it gets cold. Chapstick is necessary and ice will become your best friend.

Super heavy pads, underwear you dint mind getting ruined, pajamas with a button down front for easy breast feeding access, toiletries (including toothbrush, deodorant etc.), newborn diapers to bring home in and a take home outfit for you and baby, swaddling blankets, lose clothing and slippers for you, a tennis ball for hubby to use to massage your back during Labour, phone charger, entertainment like laptop or book, snacks, food and drinks and toiletries for hubby (if he's allowed to stay overnight be sure to pack a blanket and pillow for him as he is last priority in the birthing ward), relaxing /soothing music on your iPod...I will keep thinking lol (my hospital gave me a list of things to ensure I bring with my last pregnancy, perhaps contact your hospital and ask what they recommend). GOOD LUCK! !!! (I did all natural too, No pain killers. YOU CAN DO IT! )

Thanks! I'll have to look on Pinterest. I know I shouldn't care too much, but I also want to make sure I have everything so I won't stress or have to keep sending my boyfriend back home to get  stuff. I am also having trouble deciding which of the adorable outfits to pack my baby. I'm pretty sure I am going to over pack for him lol.
