Getting sick and getting induced in 4d

i am getting induced in 4 days.  This last week I am on bedrest.  Today I came down with a cough, a bit of a sore throat, and stuffy nose.  I am scared.  Will they still induce?  Can my baby get sick from me if I'm still sick when I give birth?  Any advice please!

I am getting induced tomorrow night and I went to er last night I have a sinus infection and ear infection I asked the same question to the doctor on call she said they would most likely give me more antibiotics when I'm induced just to be sure

Thank you!  No fever and clear mucus.  Thank goodness.  I will call OB tomorrow to see if they want to treat the cough...it is pretty nasty.

I don't know about the whole inducing part if you are sick, but I believe your baby is safe. Are you running a fever?  What color is your nasal mucus.   Hopefully you just have a cold and in that case it will be okay,  or you could have a sinus infection in that case you may need some antibiotics.  Try to rest as much as you can.  I hope this helps.
