HCH numbers, very worried... please help

My sister has been trying to get pregnant for 5 years, her last pregnancy ended in a misscarriage about 4 years ago... now, she is very worried.. any help would be grateful
Last period was on sept 12
intimate on sept 27
2 store bought pregnancy tests showed pregnant about 3 days after expected period
bought a digital (clear blue easy) that showed postitive
another clear blue test >>> positive
went to dr, confirmed pregnancy at 4 weeks 2 days
they drew blood that day.
HCG was 1600
3 days later it was 2500
4 days later it was 14500
4-5 days later it is now showing 35678

she has an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow... they did an ultrasound at 4 weeks 2 days and it showed a sac, but that was all the dr could see, plus he said that the ultrasound machine was not as strong as the others...

she will be 6 weeks 5 days on the day of her ultrasound..
they had her on progesterone suppositories which were causing her irritation, so she has switched back to the same amount.. justapplied differently..
while she was on the vaginal suppositiores she was kind of streaking blood... mostly dark... and after the transvaginal..she bled some as well...
well now everyday, when she goes to the bathroom. when she wipes, a small amount of dark brownish red is on the tp....
very few cramps,
she is very confused.... her breasts are still sore, but not as sore as they were.... however her numbers continue to rise.. ( she got a call today and was told her numbers are rising wonderfully)
however, with the blood on the tp, and the less soreness in her breasts.. she is driving herself crazy.
the dr said something to her about a blighted ovum or the rare possibility of a molar pregnancy...but then dismissed that possibililty because her numbers were not rising THAT fast.

if anyone can give her some advice i would really appreciate it.

thankyou so much.

As far as I know from research...if her numbers are rising, baby is still growing. I cant remember exactly when, but nothing but a sack will show up for the first five weeks or so. Tell your sis to relax. Doctors always give you the worst to think about.

I'm pretty sure they just look for the numbers to double & not drop. Also, if she's that early symptoms are still on-and-off, they're on-and-off the whole pregnancy for some women. As far as the blood goes - it depends on how much & if it's changing in color - bright red is usually the worst, brown blood is usually old blood.
