Please contact ur ob. Most times you keep tape on and when you go to have stitches checked your ob will take them off.

I had an emergency c section they said to leave the tape on for 10 days but if there are spots that r still  Open then leave it on up to two weeks. Let the water roll off and pat dry no scrubbing. If u move around to much you'll bleed for allot longer.

My sister in law took hers off too early and she ended up splitting it back open in the shower from scrubbing and she ended up getting an infection and had to have another surgery

No leave it on as long as you can. I had mine on for a week and a half. And don't actually scrub the wound just let the water roll off of it. And yes pat it dry. As for the swelling that's normal. Your body is trying to Balance itself back to normal.  My back was so swollen I could barely move

Im surprised no one removed ur stitches tape before you left the hospital, when I had my emergency csection with my daughter I was numb from the waist down and I couldnt feel the bottom of my stomach for a long time.

The best advice I could give you is what I did, get about 3 pillows put them by your feet, take the diapers, formula, wipes, clothes and put them on one side of the bed and have baby as close to you as possible.

I got up and walked that would be when I got rid of diapers right after changing and washed bottles after feeding. Dont not move while healing because that can cause blood clots. If possible find some long socks or stockings that will help with your swollening in your feet.

You can take the tape off and wash that area, you wanna keep the csection area exposed so it can heal faster.
