High HCG levels, no fetal pole seen, not getting answers.

I was seen in the ER last Wednesday 11/25 for low pelvic cramping. An ultrasound was performed and they found a yolk sac that measured slightly larger than it should have. (I was 5 w 4 d and the sac was measuring 6+) they were unable to locate a fetal pole so they measured my hcg. 11/25 came back 18,530 11/27 came back 27580 and 11/30 was around 56,000. These numbers seem high and from what I'm reading they should have seen a fetal pole at 10,000 and I was at 18,000. The doctors are not telling me anything and it is really frustrating me. They keep doing labs and have ordered another ultrasound for Thursday but I am losing my mind waiting for over a week for some peace of mind. I also lost my pregnancy symptoms around 11/27 which is not consistent with my levels being so high although they are only doubling every 74 hours. I am having some back pain and was experiencing pressure and pain on my cervix which has since stopped.
Someone help please!!!

I'm in the same boat.  I found out I was pragnet Friday I went in on Monday and  had blood taken and a ultra sound and they didn't really tell me much either  the one lady had said I looked like 6 weeks but no heart and ya and bla bla.  My doctor told me it's just probably to soon to tell because I have eragular cycles. It's like my body was ready for a baby befor I even got pragnet.  There saying I conceived around the end of October but my test showed I should of been about 6 weeks. But when you think of it the dates don't add up.  Sometimes they just meet to wait a bit. Hopefully all works out for you!

We couldn't hear my baby's heart beat at six weeks. That is still a little early. I went back at 8 weeks and we heard it. If your numbers are still going up I wouldn't worry too much. Stress is not good for you or baby. Try to think positive. S

Thank you, but the sac is measuring larger than it should and my numbers are higher than they should be. They are confident that I'm 6 weeks.

Sperm can live in the vagina for 5-7 days, so even if you had sex one day you could be off by nearly a week with how far along you are. I hope that may ease your mind some...

I know exactly when I got pregnant so I know I have to be as far along as i think I am :/ which makes it hard because I know there's no way I'm off on when i conceived.

Hi any news yet? I went through the same but in my case thank God it was just the baby developing later because I ovulated 2 weeks after when I was really supposed too I am now 26 weeks pregnant with a little girl but I do remember being worried sick every time they would do lab work don't stress on it you will be fine hopefully your dates were just wrong :) good luck with it all:)

Not getting answers is quite normal at this point because it could be nothing or it could be bad. There are cases when the baby just develops a little later and only shows up in the ultrasound later(9-10weeks) and cases when the baby never develops. Unfortunately i went through the same thing, but it was the bad scenario. Sac and levels were growing until i was about 10 weeks. I really hope it won't be your case.
