How long did you go after you were 4cm dialated?

Went to q my ob today and she checked for dialation and said I'm between 3&4cm. 2 weeks ago I was 2cm. She asked me if i wanted to go ahead and schedule induction for next tuesday the 2nd I'm actually due the 7th. I said no Id wait but then she scheduled an appointment on the 2nd for checkup and said if i was 5cm at that appointment she'd send me to labor and delivery. Since when can't you just wait for nature to take its course? Since i figured I'll be induced either way on the 2nd i called her back and said to just schedule me for induction so I can get it started earlier and my husband knows for sure what days to take off work. However my dr said she doubts ill make it through the weekend and we just planned my husbands work schedule around me having the baby Tuesday. How long after you were told you were 4cm dialated did you have the baby?

I'm schedule  to get induced on the Feb 2nd as well congrats. I  don't want to do it because  I'm not dilated at all. She recommend  me have plenty of sex and walk the weekend.  I live in new Orleans and Mardi grad is coming up and she rushing my induction so she won't be stuck for Mardi gras delivering my baby but I don't care. I go Monday to check to see if I'm dilated if I'm not she will have to wait until he comes. Now my doctor has an attitude with me.

I've been at 4cm since Thursday. I was hoping I'd have baby over the weekend but now it's Monday and still zero signs of labor. Lol. Any updates on you? Baby here?!?

I was at 4 cm for a few hrs and as soon as I hit 5cm I went right into labour and had my baby within 30mins.

Once I hit 4cm I had my daughter 5 hours later. It would of been longer if I had chosen to get an epidural.

I was 2 cm my last ob appt. went into labor 5 days after. Arrived @ the hospital @ 4cm & 12 hours later had my son

I was 2-3 cm and I had my lil girl 5 days after. As soon as my ob told me I started walking more, going up and down the stairs, and sex too.lol maybe those helped as well :)

I was in labour at 4 cm and my daughter was also born 8 hours later but I was jsving contractions so that might be it. Hang in there. Walk a lot and ut will help you goninto labour naturally. Good luck.

I went into labor at 3cm once I hit 4cm my daughter was here 8 hours later.

With my first I was 4 cm for a about a week and waited it out my lo came 10 days late and on his own.
