I accidently swallowed little Listerine and I am pregnant

While rinsing I accidentally swallowed little listerine. My throat started burning. I quickly gargled with water. Later I found out it contains alcohol. I am very scared now. What should I do?

I accidentally swallowed some Listerine mouthwash and I felt so sick. I am also 2 months and I was wondering what I need to do, I am so scared should I call a doctor or a pharmacy. My stomach felt weird afterwards. Any suggestions?

Sorry about the Listerine mishap.  One sip will probably be fine.  Go ahead and call your doctor though for peace of mind.  They'll just talk to you over the phone about it most likely.  I really wouldn't worry too much about a single episode of swallowing a sip or bit of it.  But just check in with your doctor.  good luck and congrats on the pregnancy.

I agree with specialmom- call your doctor for peace of mind, but you are probably ok!  It might be that your stomach feels odd because of your nerves about it too- but it's always worth calling your doctor and sharing concerns!

I wouldn't worry to much. Once or even twice isn't going to have any affects on your baby. If you are really scared mention it to your dr but it was not enough to do any damage. Congrats on your pg....

my friend said she did it and her baby is fine...he's gorgieous and now he's 22months hopefully you'll be fine..congats on you pregnancy!!

If it was just a little bit, I'm pretty sure you're fine. Maybe try drinking some water to help "flush" it back out.
