I almost burnt my house down today.
I put dinner in the oven, and went outside. When we came back in, we saw smoke coming from the oven and opened it to find a fire bellowing out.
I can't even express my horror. The fire was pur out pretty quickly but not before the house filled with smoke and the firemen were on the way.
I'm so extremely grateful that it wasn't worse, but my god, all I can think about is how close our lives came to being over.

Thank God no one was hurt n your house is still there..please be careful
One year ago today we woke up to flames in our living room. Smoke detectors didn't go off and there were flames from floor to ceiling. Check those smoke detectors! I'm glad your safe
