I am FREAKING OUT!!

My husbanf is a shift manager at a store and tonight the closing cashier asked for a ride home since her roommate refused to give her a ride and he agreed. After closing the store, she madea remark about him being slow because she needed to get home fast. So he told her then walk home because he doesn't have to give her a ride. So she started walking home and texted him when he was finally home that if he didn't come and give her a ride she would go to the store manager and tell the manager that they fooled around which is a LIE! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and lost my job in January when my work place closed and she is threatening him with this. I am FURIOUS! But I'm also scared as f*ck as to what this little b*tch can do to his job if she keeps blackmailing him. He's going to talk to the store manager tomorrow morning as soon as possible. But I'm scared sh*tless.

I think if you trust and know your husband then you would know if he was lying. Make sure you stand by him. If he is lying then I am sorry. But I wouldn't assume until you feel that something is fishy. These other women do not know your husband you do!

This story doesn't make sense to me. If i were you i would ask for waaaaay more details. Her roomate wouldn't give her a ride? Who goes to work with no ride after work? Is it normal for him and other employees to give her and other coworkers rides? Why did she need to get home fast?  Why didn't he hurry or just go after her if he is that nice if a guy. He left a girl alone to walk home in the cold? Doesn't sound nice to me. Why would he get mad about her saying hes slow? Doesn't seem that rude, just ignorant. How did that text accidentally get deleted?  What were you doing on your phone when it happened? Why would she go there? Has she ever made a move on you? Are you not telling me something?

I agree with the commentor above. Everything sounds fishy. And you say he "accidently" deleted some of her texts. Thats b*ll to me, especially in a serious situation like this. I've been there in the past with liars and its like I can see right through them now. Im sorry you're with a person like that and wish you all the best in the future with your baby.

Sorry but I'm not buying his story.  Sounds like something has been going on between the two of them and the girl got mad about something and was threatening to make whatever they had together public which would put your husband's job at risk.  Your husband told you this fabricated story just in case so he could be in the clear with you if this got out. I doubt there was even a blackmail text at all.  How convenient it accidently got deleted.  Seems more legit than some girl being angry that her free ride was being slow when the alternative was to walk home in freezing temperatures.

Thank you smichellec! He thinks the best in everyone and doesn't want people to walk when its so cold out. But he will no longer be giving anyone rides. And yes he tells me when he gives someone a ride home and even tells me when girls give him sexual remarks or ask him to "hook up" he always tells them he going home to his wife and child

In most companies, if a manager has any type of intimate relationship with an employee, sexual harassment charges can be brought up and generally that person can be fired (along with sued).  That's the unfortunate reality of our litigious society.  Even if there is a mutual relationship----  if it is between a manager and someone under them, they can claim sexual harassment and the accused has to fight it with a lawyer.

That's why that deleted text message where she shared her plan was critical.  That is sad it is deleted.

He never did anything legally wrong..she has nothing she can 'file'. Lol this is nonsense.  If for some bazaar reason she cost him his job he could sue her. She sounds crazy. Poor guy sounds naive. Or the story just isnt straight.  I wouldn't put another thought into though. Woohoo your baby is near!

Regardless. I dont think he could benin trouble.  Unless it's against company policy for managers to give rides to employees or text. Which many companies do have...im sure it will all work out. At least he wont close with her anymore.

Accidentally deleted? Interesting. Did he tell you he was taking her home? Or just came home with this crazy story? I just cant see a professional working relationship between male and female where someone feels its acceptable to complain about the ride they're getting home. Seems like they're friendly enough to even have had that type of argument. And they text each other? And now threatening with sex claims. Seems to me they got in a fight. He kicked her out. She got mad and said ooooo im telling. Imo.

She wasn't claiming rape or anything like that. She just wanted to get him into trouble with work because he's a shift manager.

If it does get reported and police get involved (which i would suggest it better for you to clear his name if he is telling the truth ) they can recover deleted messages from phones. They do it often. So maybe go to a tech wiz and get it recovered or fet advice.

The one that she sent about saying she was going to tell the managers they "fooled around" no. It got depeted on accident. But he does have the one where she said she was just angry that she had to walk. Its just a crappy situation. He's currwntly sleeping since we've been up all night and the sun is already rising but I just can't sleep. I have too much racing through my head and when I think about it my eyes get teary and start burning. Its going to be a long day.

He has the text from her.  Right?  She's not a very smart blackmailer.   He sounds like he has it covered.  But yes, that is irritating.  good luck

The store manager said that if she aays something they will take it from there but if she doesn't say anything not to worry about it. And they are going to try and make it so they do not close together anymore. Since when the store closes there is only ever one cashier and the manager on duty. And I agree that its horrible men can't give rides to women without being scared of them saying something. Its always the woman's word against the man and the man usually gets into trouble. He is no longer going to give anyone a ride home. He tried to be nice tonight since it was about 12 degrees, then she had to be a smart a** telling him he was moving too slow which made him upset since he has a family and dinner to come home to which led to the "then you can walk home comment." But he even waited for her at the car but she just kept walking. He had no reason to go after her. She's nothing but a sl*tty lying b*tch.

It is terrible that men can not just be nice. I told my husband for reasons like this that he can't give a woman a ride no matter the situation. That text is important and I don't think you should worry. He should let his boss know what happened immediately and file a complaint with your local police station about the harassment. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Apparently she got picked up by highway patrol and they gave her a ride home and she was going on telling them that her boss wouldn't give her a rude home in the cold and gave them his name. I don't get why she is doing this. He technically doesn't have to give anyone a ride home. Once she leaces the store she is not his responsibility as an employee. At least he was nice enough to say he would even though she started b*itching and saying he was slow. And once she started walking home he came home. She was p*ssed that he "didn't go after her." He's going to talk to the store manager in about 2 hours. And he has another shift manager that he has confided in with all the times she's asked him to "do things" where he declined every one will be there when he talks to the store manager. So he even has someone to back up his story. I'm just completely lost right now.
