I have no idea

Are we allowed to use icy hot when we're prego? My hip is killing me. I can't even bend over to take care of my toddler. I know it's a chemical so I just need to know. Tylenol won't touch the pain.

I was like 30 weeks when I got a severe hip pain on my left side and felt like it was running over my lower belly. The pain was so intense that I had 2 go to the ER. A doc immediately gave me 2 injections, buscopan plus and gravol. The pain went almost instantly. I am now 37 weeks and that pain never came back!

I had a miscarriage with my first baby because I used icy hot. Make sure you talk to a doctor before you try using it.

Try the nurse advice line from your hospital. They might be able to tell you if its safe or not.

The prenatal massages do work wonders. It is something to try if you can. It doesn't keep it gone but it does help for awhile. Also like others said O have an electric heating pad that helps. Tylenol does nothing for me either.

Call the labour and delivery department. I know I have severely bad back hip and pelvic pain I have a separated pelvic bone and extremely bad arthritis in all those areas and have to just suffer thru it while pregnant cause there is very little that is considered safe to use and the stuff that is doesn't work I feel your pain. Sometimes warm baths then stretching can help a little but I know it doesn't last and it's hard to find the time to do it (I have two toddler boys). I hope you find something that works.

I tried a heating pad. I don't think it's from being pregnant. Which is scary. It has hurt like this once before I was pregnant but I'm sure the pregnancy doesn't help. I can't talk to my doctor til Monday and he said only use the EL in a life threatening emergency.
