I really want to be a mommy :-(

My husband and I have been trying for a few months now. For the first time I'm 5 days late. I started spotting tonight and I've been cramping on and off since 5 days ago when I was supposed to have my period. I've taken 2 hpts and both are negative. I read a lot about implantation bleeding but at this point I'm 18 days since last ovulation. I'm not sure what's going on with my body right now and I'm really confused :-/

A few month is such a short amount of time. My hubby and I tried for 2 1/2 year went thru fertility drugs, clinical trial for PCOS, the I had a D&C and then a treatment plan for my precancerous cells, then another surgery. The back to fertility drugs (clomid) and I am now preg 6 weeks. This happened when we decided to stop trying!  We had given up but I still took the drug to see if I would ovulate, I sure did and we just happens to baby dance the right now. It was like it was meant to be!

You need to relax and yes you can make yourself feel pregnant!  Your probably stressed about trying that you caused yourself to be late. Just take it easy!  I suggest tracking your temperature or using a ovulation predictor kit every month!  I did temps!

I understand how you feel. It can be downright confusing and frustating to get the neg hpts. I m also trying to conceive after 3 miscarriages and been getting a mix of pos and neg results. All we can do is see a doctor for further explanation.

As hard as it may be, you have to relax, or else you could cause your body to think its pregnant by wanting it so badly. Speaking from experience here. Had all the signs except the hpt saying positive. Good luck though, and I hope you both are!

I'm in the same boat! My body is still trying to figure out its cycle. It too me 6 weeks to have my first period. If you stopped birth control in the last few months it can take your body a few months to figure itself out as well as you figuring out your ovulation times! Try and be patient and believe me it's hard! Praying for you and you may want to try ovulation predictor kit! Good luck!
