I went from tge iphone to the galaxy s4mini. And the camera on the galaxy is far better quality (in the right conditions). Pictures tend to go a little grainy when you aren't in a well lit area.. I would honestly just vuy an actual camera for baby pics etc, as the quality and functions of a camera outweigh any phone. But thats just me personally.

I will never buy apple but thats just me, my mom swears by hers. Hubby and I both have a galaxy smart phone, and  we both have the 2014 note 10.1 tablets (my mom is switching toa galaxy tablet instead of her ipad because she says our tablets are better). They are so user friendly, great bettery life and camera, etc. However for great pictures that are not on the go I usually use my nikon camera because it has around double the megapixels so that may be an option if you get apple.

I have the Galaxy S5 and love mine also. I had the S3 before this one & I think the camera quality in both phones are brilliant.

The iPhone probably has the same feature, but I like how the S5 can take a front-facing photo AND a normal photo at the same time, then combines the two photos onto one picture :-)

I always had iphones then decided to switch to galaxy. I liked it and the camera for about a week then regretted switching and so did my husband. We ended up switching our phones back to iphones after only about 6 months of having the galaxy. Now that i have the iphone again, i feel like my pictures look way better than when on the galaxy.

I love my galaxy s5. I've never liked iPhone though so I'm probably not a fair reviewer

I have a Nexus and I love it! The camera is better than my galaxies (I've had the first 4) the only thing is it's not commonly available with a provider or plan so my hubby and I had to pay the full $400 per phone for them.
