Ice! Ice! ICE!!

I'm 29 wks and just took my glucose test 2 days ago. I just heard back from the dr that i passed the glucose test but came back anemic. I heard of rumors that cravings for ice is a sign of low iron and ive been chewing down like up to 6 trays a day! I'm told i have to take an iron supplement and that they make you constipated. Any suggestions on an iron supplement that wont have the bathroom side effect?

If you can, take magnesium with your iron it balances out the constipation issue

I am now taking iron tablets and what my doc advised me is that if i take the tablet i should wait 2 hours before having any milkproduct and that helps to prevent constipation. Also eat lots of spinach and iron-rich veggies. Good luck!

If i get my iron levels up will the ice craving slow down? My neighbor had to have 3 root canals after her pregnancy because of the damage from chewing ice
