I'm sufferinggggg...

Hi ladies, so this is my 2nd pregnancy (a boy this time yay!) I've had this severe migraine for going on 5 days now, been to the ER and called my doctor. I was told Tylenol and add a tiny bit of caffeine to my diet but NOTHING works!! The Tylenol does random times but only for about an hr then I'm debilitated again :( anyone go through this? What was the cause? How did you deal with it? Help please!!

Thank you! I hope you feel better as well. I'm going to talk to my doctor because I think it's my prenatals. I haven't taken them in 2days and no sign of headache.

Ya I'm also having a difficult pregnancy with this second one. I've been having headaches after the hospitalization so I'm hoping it's the pills I'm taking. Thank God I'm finishing my dosage tomorrow then I'll know for sure. I'm seeing the dr later month hope you get better

Are you taking any medications? Sometimes the side effects can be exaggerated or different while pregnant. A lot of anti-nausea medications also cause migraines.

Staying hydrated can also ease migraines.

Your vision might have also changed with pregnancy too, which can sometimes just be related to an increase in blood pressure.

I'm not too nauseous almost through the 22nd trimester. My mom also thinks my iron levels may be a culprit. I'll add some extra protein too, I heard protein shakes are pretty good

Fioricet is fabulous, also try a little extra protein (if you aren't too nauseous yet) and heat/cold packs on your neck.

I'm a migraine sufferer before pregnancy and weeks 6-13 kill me as my blood volume increases but the placenta hasn't 100% taken over yet.

It can also oddly enough be a sign of lower than normal iron levels, which is common is pregnancy.

Also if you use essential oils frankincense helps a lot
