Induction stories and advice please!!

Hi. I am 8 days overdue and i like  in the uk. We were told yesterday that if nothing happens before I will be induced this Friday.
It is a bit nerve racking and i was wondering if some of you could share some useful info, tips or your story so I can feel a bit more prepared.
Thank you!

I was induced with my first at 41 weeks +4 days. It was unfortunate seeing how I had hoped for a nice natural birth. Being hooked to the pitocin limited my mobility & made me pretty sick to my stomach. I had to alter my birth plan but baby came out happy and healthy several hours later. Wishing you all the luck!

I was induced with my 2nd non medicated. Personally found it worse than my 1st natural labor. Contractions were much stronger and longer. It was fast tho, only 5 hours from pitocin to baby. Stick with your pain management you got this! Good luck

Hi tali
I was induced with my 1st (pregnant with my 2nd now) and the one but if advice I could give you is just go with the flow. Set aside any birth plans etx and just let it happen. Be prepared to expect the unexpected and it will keep you calm. Being induced is a very different experience to natural going I to labour,  but don't panic. Just do as the midwives instruct and fingers crossed you'll  be with your baby before you know it x
