Thank you for your comments! I'm very comfortable on my bike. I thought it was more about the position you're in when you're riding it. But if is just for the risk of falling I don't think I'll have a problem with that. ;)
Actually, if you were used to cycling before it's totally safe. Of course you have to be extra cautious but since you haven't likely gained much weight, you don't have to worry too much about your center of gravity yet.
I cycle daily and have for years. Not giving that up until I have to.
Now if you weren't much into cycling before and are thinking it seems like a nice time, I don't think I'd risk it. It's really a matter of how comfortable you are on your bike.
