Is this a miscarriage?

I am six weeks and two days pregnant. I have had tender breasts and nausea since what feels like conception. Three days ago the nausea stopped, until last night when it came back. This morning I started bleeding. It started with pink and through the last four hours has become heavier with some clots and quite a bit of pressure. My breasts are still tender and am nauseated today too. I went for Hcg blood work this morning and the doc said it looked perfect for six weeks along but without a second draw to compare it to, it didn’t mean much. I am supposed to relax until the day after tomorrow when they want to take more blood and see if my hcg doubles or not. I can’t imagine bleeding and cramping like this is normal... anyone???

While I wouldn't say it's normal, I do know that it can happen and you can have a healthy pregnancy after.  Unfortunately, it's also a warning sign of a miscarriage as well- and the only way to tell for sure is to play the waiting game and go for those follow up blood tests.  I know that it is difficult to not know and be in suspense waiting- keep us updated on how you are doing and what we can do to help you!
