It has begun... 10 weeks

Driving home from dinner last night my husband and I were talking about our plans for this fall, how we NEED to move out of our apartment we've been in for almost three years - just too many issues. So anyway we're talking about maybe renting another place but that we both really want to buy a house finally, just that it's a big process and very intimidating.
A little voice pipes up from the back seat, our three-year-old says "I will buy a house with you, Mama and Daddy!"
I choked up immediately and started to cry. Didn't want to scare the little guy so I stayed quiet but my hubby could tell right away and started to laugh at me... "I thought maybe I'd get a couple more months before you turned into a hormonal mess" and I laughed right back... but he's right! What happened to me?? All emotional all of a sudden. Sheesh.

He's a sweet boy. And my husband even agreed that it was a super cute thing for him to say - he was just teasing me. I guess I just wasn't ready for the emotional part to start yet!

Awww. I would cry too! Your son is adorable. It happens when you least expect it. I never believed it when I heard my sisters talking about it. But it finally happened 2 weeks ago when I cried because I couldn't fall asleep at night lol

That's cute. I think I might have cried if I heard my child day that even if I wasn't expecting.
