Just tied my tubes and I was pregnant

So I got my tubes tied on the 21st of November and the day begore they took both blood and urine test to determine a non pregnant state in order to go through with the procedure. Been feeling very sick to my stomach and had a sharp pain in my side the other day. Missed my period but I thought since I had the surgery 3 weeks ago that maybe I would just get it next month... kept puking and nothing taste right decided to take a pregnancy test just to ease my mind and well IM PREGNANT... has anyone heard of this?? The Dr said I must have gotten pregnant a couple days prior and the test couldn't detect it?? Also would it still develop correctly? Would the anesthesia have an effect on the baby??

I can't say I've ever heard of this but, that's pretty incredible. I'm sure the baby will be just fine from the anesthesia. As for a regular pregnancy I'm really not sure but I am sure your dr will monitor you and baby closely for most if not all your pregnancy... best wishes

At that stage I don't think the anesthesia would effect the baby. But pregnancies after tubals can be serious from the sounds of it you got pregnant before and although not the idea situation I think everything should be fine and develop properly
