Labor Experiences

Hello All, just curious about different types of deliveries anyone here has experienced. Has anyone tried water or at home births in the past? What have some of your experiences  been in hospitals with and without medication? To be honest, my pain tolerance is pretty average and now that I'm near the end of my 2nd tri I'm just trying to get a better grasp on what it's actually going to feel like. Honest opinions and brutally honest experiences welcome. Pain levels 1-10?

With my first son my labor pains started around 3 -am  I had him at 3pm. It was the worst feeling and pain I had ever felt. Between 1-10. 1000. The worst thing was when I got to the hospital I was only 2cm dilated so they had me laying on the bed I couldn't get up and I was screaming for hours, but I didn't want the epidural I'm more afraid of that. They put some pain med on the iv which only made me drowsy and I could still feel everything. So thank God I finally had him, and I remember having nightmares for a few nights after that. Oh yeah the pain goes away soon after you have the baby in your arms. With my second baby I knew what was coming so I planed to labor as much as I could at home. I was not going to go lay in a bed for hrs again. That's the worst thing. This was 1 yr and 10 months after my first. I remember starting my labor pains around 7 am and so I started walking up and down stairs I did squats, I sat on a rocking chair and would swing back and forth during the contractions. I did this for hours. When I finally decided the pain was getting to strong I went to the hospital and this was around 11am. When I get there and was checked I was already dilated to 8. I was so happy. After that and of course with a lot of pain I had my second baby boy around 12 pm. Oh yeah i also screamed when it came to me pushing him out. But I felt so much better the second labor then the first. With my 3rd baby which is a girl it was a bit different again I knew what was coming and so I mentally prepared my self and prayed of course that I could handle the pain. But with her I started my labor pains also in the morning but didn't have her till 9pm. Between all those hrs I did the same thing but in the hospital, I walked, did squats rocked on a chair and walked around the room during the contractions. The pain wasn't as bad as the firsts pregnancies. But I did scream again when it came time to me pushing, that was where I would get my strength I guess. Now I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby and I'm not going to lie I am nervous, because I know what's coming. I'm praying and trying to prepare myself for that day. We can do this!!!!

I was induced with my son. They induced me by 10am,broke my water at 1pm, and gave me an epidural at 2pm (before i felt to much pain) my epidural didnt work on half my body because i have a slight scoliosis. The pain was so bad it made me want to vomit and couldn't tell it was only working on one side. The anesthesiologist Came back at 7pm to redue my epidural and i had my 9.9lb baby boy at 8:10pm. I could not feel a thing after the second epidural but the contractions were the worst pain of my life.
