Labor-- will my support system see what's going on down there?

I'm soo uncomfortable with the whole labor process, grosses me out & terrifies me. Anyways, my husband will be out of state our baby is due for work, he mostly like will miss it. My mom wants to be there during childbirth, but uncomfortable with the idea of her there watching me deliver & seeing all the ickky stuff.  So what am I wondering is, if I let my mom be there as my support, will she be able to see everything what's going down my vagina, I mean what the doctor is doing & when taking the baby out. If I let her to stay near my head, will she still be able to see? I know I'm being being so ridiculous,  but I keep thinking of that day. I'm ftm, 36 weeks.

My mom was in there with my past pregnancies. And she stayed by my head and no you can't really see.  Just tell her to stay by your head

honestly at the moment I don't even think you're really thinking about that my husband wasn't with me so my mom was my sister my really close cousin and my friend which is my sister in law and at the time I really didn't even care I just wanted him out besides that it's not like they'll be talking about it later every woman has the same thing

I just had my baby 5 days ago and worried a lil about that. My husband was there holding one hand and looking at baby come out and my mother in law holding other hand but stayed by my head and didnt see the "details". Really depends if your mom will respect you wanting her to stay at ur head. When ur in the middle of it your much less self conscious.  Whoever is there will be seeing more of u then before. Nurses and dr inspection adjusting monitors....
