Lost our angel boy :(

Our little boy was born prematurely on new years day at 27 weeks, 28cm,1.1kg. He had some ups and downs and was starting to do well under circumstances, then contracted a hospital bacteria mrsa this last week.  He stopped breathing yesterday was placed on ventilator again and his heart stopped after a few hours. The pain of loss is incredible, we miss him so much. It's really hard. My question is, I had 2 previous miscarriages at 8 weeks and now lost our angel prematurely what are my chances of ever having a full term pregnancy :((( and healthy bundle?  I had hypothyroidism which is under control now and I am a healthy person generally. My heart really aches

I'm so sorry... I couldn't imagine your pain. God bless you and your family and my prayers are with you. As far as if you'll have another baby Idk sweets. You just have to pray about your situation and stay in faith, only God knows what He has in store for us. I truly do hope you do have a healthy bundle and you can pick up the pieces. You just have to stay strong. It won't be easy but you'll get stronger. God bless

I doubt most of the women here can give you an accurate answer on what your chances are, as most are not doctors. I am so sorry for what you have gone through and for your loss. I hope you get your answer,  and a healthy baby.

Terribly sorry to hear that you have lost your angel. As others have said, you'll want to do what you can to find out why you delivered so early and go forward from there. You and your husband are in my thoughts xo

Oh my, I'm so sorry!

As far as full term pregnancy, it depends on what happened to cause you to go early, however, there may not be a reason.  There are lots of things that they can test you for and resolve and even give you additional hormones to help you keep the pregnancy going (I'm on that treatment now and it's working).

Please take your time, take it minute to minute.  I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear about ur lost. Asking your doctor all these answers can definitely give u more insight on what is going on. Ask them to run more test and if u should wait to have another baby.

On having a full term bundle in the future, really only your doctor can answer that question for you.  It might depend on the reason you delivered early this time.  Again. I am so sorry about your loss.
