Low BLOOD PRESSURE

Anyone having issues with low blood pressure??? Mine was really low yesterday causing me to black out at Wall*Mart. I'm 36w&&3d its been getting more and more frequent the light headedness, tunnel vision, tingles every where. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?? And what their Dr/MW is doing to fix it.

I do. Keep a bottle of water and a bag of snacks in your bag. At the same time refrain from up and down movements as much as possible. When you have to get down, go all the way down to hands and knees. I no longer go shopping alone, hubby is always with me when I go out. Or if hubby is working I have a friend go out with me. I get hot flashes and feel clamy when I am about to pass out. I than sit down, drink my ice cold water (i need it ice cold or I get sick), eat a small snack than slowly get up making sure I keep a bottle of water near me at all times. This is what I do to make sure I don't collapse. I did it once and hubby helped me get through it. Thank goodness I had my midwife on speed dial, she helped me figure out what to do and how to avoid anymore episodes. Do what I do momma! It will help you. Keep some candies in your purse for blood sugar too.

Ya I was just walking at the store and I got super dizzy. Then tunnel vision... then black. Thank goodness my MIL was there to catch me. Oh I drink nothing but water and gateraide. And occasionally hot tea because I don't drink coffee. Ya my BP was 90/53. Oh I agree low is way better than high just makes for a long day after the spell... I get super sleepy and weak. Have to take long naps or lay down for a few hours. My Dr. Told me today if it happened again today that tomorrow I will have to do a stress test and get hooked up for more fluids.

I always had low bp problem and now that I am 7wks pregnant its worse. Atleast you have made it to 36 wks. God knows how I am going to manage my bp. My doc says its okay to have low bp rather than having high bp. HBF dear u make sure u sould never b left alone at home or outside as ur in 36th week, it could be very risky for u. Take care n pray for me as well.

When you're pregnant your blood volume increases,  which is what causes your BP to drop. Staying hydrated is key also changing positions slowly. If you're passing out just walking you def need to update your doc.
