This is my 3rd pregnancy (20weeks) and this is something that just happens. All I can say is spit when u have to and keep a bottle of water on ur side. Its annoying and gets embarrassing at times but its just something that happens to some women during pregnancy. Don't torture urself and try to with hold spitting wen needed. People just need to understand. Good luck!

When I wake up in the mornings it's like my throat is coated with it. When I clear my throat I wind up gagging and I throw up stomach acid EVERY MORNING!!! I am 37 weeks and 2 days. I have done this since the beginning of my pregnancy and I put it as my body trying to clean my lungs out because I had quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant. That's when it had started for me.

As Kenize said, it used to make me gag & throw up for weeks. Then, someone suggested me to drink with fresh ginger and honey tea as well as couple of garlic (un chopped). I know it sounds gross but it really work for me. The nasty mocus came out.
