Muslim mothers or soon to be mommy

Asalaam Aleiykum, do any of you put Quran on so the baby can listen during pregnancy? Did you continue to do that after the baby is born?

Thank you. I let quran read when I'm relaxing or sleeping. I pray for righteous & healthy baby, who loves the deen & had knowledge of our beautiful deen.

Walaykum as Salam I dont know how much of an effect listening to quran during pregnancy has on your baby.. But I can only imagine it to be positive.. I and along with many friends I know who would read quran while their babies were young ended up being pleasantly surprised when the babies learn to finish the ayats when they are a bit older and even when the kids start memorizing, the surahs they hear often in the home are much easier to memorize.. May Allah give you a healthy righteous baby
