My Labor Story~ Sh

My little lady made her official appearance into the world on November 5th at 12:53 am!

I woke up Tuesday the 4th (my actual Due date) with what I thought were contractions but was confused at how they were not in my stomach, just my back. I continued my day of house work and so on. They started getting closer together so started writing them down from 10am - until my husband got home at 4:30 they went from 9 mins apart to 6. We had dinner , I cleaned the kitchen and he talked me into going to the hospital for a labor check. When I got there they said I was indeed in labor and admitted me. I was 4CM when checked in at 6:50pm My daughter was facing the wrong way so they suggested walking to try and turn her, so I did.  About an hour later my doctor got there and checked me agsin- I was now at 7CM and she decided to break my water. The next 3 hours were absolutely brutal.... basically my daughter never turned and my labor was completely in my back which forced me to labor on my hands and knees on the floor, I decides to try the jacuzzi tub....it felt so good and eased my back ache. But after about 45 minutes of being in there I was forced out on Thr floor by my own body with the strong urge to push- they called my doctor and got me into bed which I was pissed about but my daughter needed to be turned in order to avoid complications....
I spent the next hour and a half pushing with all my might....and then she was there, My sweet Natalie Claire ~ 8lbs 5oz and 20 1/2 in long. :)
A perfect combination of my husband and I, so beautiful! All natural birth, no epi or pain meds of any kind.... yes it was doable, but very painful.

2 days later, a fractured tailbone, and one tiny internal tear requiring only one stitch, we are home with our new love.. xo
Wishing you all healthy rest of your pregnancies!

i think its awesome that a pregnant woman instinctively knows to get down on the hands and knees because that's how our ancestors did it...that and it's much more comfortable when mommy has back pains during labor...I think I want the jacuzzi in my room because I want to try hard to go natural...I do hate pain but I'm still going to try...I love this story! Congrats and she has a beautiful name ;)

Thank you all.!!!! Dislocation/ fracturing/ even breaking your tailbone is very common I guess when your baby is facing wrong direction ad havingback labor.. not fun, but I'm working through it... quite an experience for my first baby.. I might rethink a second baby lol
