NEED ADVICE AM i LOSING MY BABY????

Ok So this is me and my husband’s 2nd pregnancy, but we had our first 10 years ago , and have been trying with no luck for the last eight years, so you can imagine how elated we were to find out we are pregnant.  We have only tried naturally so no fertility drugs or help. So here is the story. On 2-7-14 I went to the ER with severe lower back pain ( I thought it was a kidney infection) Well after blood work and urine testing the doctor came in and said my blood test said I was PREGNANT. At that moment you could have knocked me over with a feather I was in shock, disbelief, and confused, because  I had also started a period on 2-1-14 thru 2-6-14 , so basically my period stopped the day before , So how could I be pregnant “ I thought”. He proceeded to tell me that he was going to test the blood again to get my HCG levels and order an ultrasound. My HCG was at 61 then the ultrasound regular and transvaginal showed nothing at all. He said by my numbers and the fact that nothing showed up on my ultrasound I was only a few days pregnant, but to follow up with my OB on Monday and have her redo blood work to make sure the HCG numbers were going up. So on 2-11-14 I saw my OB she did urine and it came up positive and blood work, it was also time for my yearly so she did a pap smear as well. Because the urine test came up positive she said I had to be further along and my new HCG# was 347, she said it was a viable pregnancy and wanted to go off the last period before 2-1-14 which was 12-28-14 so she said I was about 6 weeks and my due date would be 10-5-14. That left me a bit confused since 3 days before the ER doc said I was only a few days, anyway she said just to be safe she would report the blood work in 2 days, so yesterday I started spotting I wouldn’t even call it spotting I just had dark brown on the tissue when I wiped, She said no worries it’s just old blood. I went in today 2-13-14 for another blood test, and the nurse just called and said my new HCG # was 235, and the doctor want me to come back in on Monday to test again, So I asked what does this mean am I having a miscarriage, she said so blunt probably WTF that was it then she said see you Monday. I’m so scared now!!!!!!!! And I have to hurry up and wait till Monday!!!!!!! I am having no symptoms of a miscarriage. The only this I have is a tiny bit of dark brown when I wipe, it’s not even enough spotting to show on my panty liner, so to break it down
2-6-14 was the end of a almost inexistent period
2-7-14 in the ER HCG# was 61 and nothing on ultrasound
2-11-14 OB office HCG# 347 and positive urinalysis
2-13-14 OB office HCG# 235, and said probably a miscarriage, and I have to go back 2-17-14 to recheck HCG levels, and the only symptom I have is brown when I wipe. I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms though, so has anyone ever had their numbers drop and come back up. I just need advice, hope, something to help me understand what’s happening to me and my baby!!!! Please any and all feedback even if it’s bad would be severely appreciated!!!!  Pray for me and my baby
Thanks  in advance for your help, and support

Hello to touch on the subject of what you're experiencing, I recently went through the exact same thing just this last June of 2013.It is true when your numbers drop it's a big possibility that you'll have a miscarriage. However I agree that you shouldn't stress because most likely something wasn't right. Healthy babies are our greatest desire.  Be of positive belief because it is a greater chance of conceiving faster back to back. This is so because just as I was pregnant late June I became blessed again early July. Had extended test done because the doctor thought it was still from my miscarriage in June. Test came back as a viable pregnancy. Now I'm soon to deliver a wonderful healthy boy, God is a just God he had no respect of person if he blessed me i'm believing with you that he'll do the same for you. Keep the faith he has it all in control. Take care and have on your journey.

My miscarriage started out kinda light bleeding bit it was always bright red. I was super stressed out which only made things worse. I was "light" bleeding for 2 weeks. Then I got very painful cramps and heavy bleeding. Try and stay as stress free as possible. Think positive! Don't worry about crabby doctors. Pray and stay positive! Worrying only makes things worse. Good luck

I've never had blood work to determine if I were pregnant before so I can't answer that question... But I think it may just stool be a little to early to tell... I think the fact that your blood test went from 61 to 347 within 4 days was a big sky rocket...  just stay calm and pray about it... The lord will take care of you... Good luck and hope everything comes out in your favor...

I'm obviously no expert... usually a dropping hcg level means a miscarriage, although dont stress now and freak out cause thats not always the case! And brown blood usually is old blood. I had a miscarriage my first pregnancy around 6 weeks and it was bloody and painful. Also as bad as a miscarriage may be usually if you have one your body just wasnt prepared but its usually easier to get pregnant again after. Dont lose hope and dont stress that will just make it worse. Good luck!
