My midwife suggested it to me when I was 40+3days not dilated and it was so hard to get where I live the rasbery loose tea not the herbal one.
But I found it at 41+1 day and in 3 days I was 2cm dilated but that day had to go in and be induced wish I would have known about it sooner and I wish I'd have found it sooner.i drank 3 cups a day so you mite want to drink more if you wanted to started later and speed it up
Like the other ladie said start around 37 weeks

If you're worried about it putting you into labour, it won't. That's not what it's for. It's to help strengthen the uterus. You could probably start in a few weeks.
