Past breastfeeding problems...

Ok ladies so this will be my fourth baby. My first had trouble latching on so I pumped but after a few weeks found out she was lactose intolerant.  My second was in the nicu for two weeks which I pumped the whole time but eventually punped dry before he could come home. My third child was so impatient with breast feeding. It was like it didn't come out fast enough. I tried for a couple weeks but finally switched because he wasn't gaining any weight. So my question is has any of you had success with breast feeding with large breasts?  Mine are DDs and my areolas are very big. I know the baby only has to latch on to a small portion of the breast but I'm wondering if my large areolas will cause problems this time around... any input would be appreciated :-)

I recommend talking to a lactation consultant before and after delivery and if having troubles meeting with one at the hospital to help. I wish I would have used their help more when I had my son.

My first had a hard time with latch but I breastfed my other two for over a year. I am pregnant with my forth now. I am an H so you can definitely breastfeed with large breasts.
