Pillows?

Starting to get really uncomfortable trying to get to sleep... Are you ladies using tons of pillows and does it really help? I am a stomach sleeper ONLY and I am so scared that I won't be able to sleep the rest of this pregnancy. 11wks day2.

I used to be a tummy sleeper but then at about 12 wks had to go to my side. (left side to be exact) I found if i put my bump on a body pillow it wasn't so bad.  but if it is no longer comfy on your stomach its time to turn.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant, I sleep on my side since I'm so big but what helps me is a body pillow. I can't sleep with out it. Part of it is tucked under my tummy and between my legs. Another great thing I have is a memory foam bed. No matter what position I'm in it's comfortable cause the bed forms to my body. If you don't have a memory foam bed, they sell memory foam toppers for beds at Walmart and Target. They do wonders for helping get a comfortable position without the springs getting in the way and making it uncomfortable and you also won't need a bunch of pillows.

I would lay on my side with head pillows, a pillow supporting my belly, one behind my back, and one between my legs. It helped a lot. This time around I will be investing in a pregnancy pillow :)

I had this problem early on as well but it was more due to lower back and hip pain. Adding extra pillows for me never worked bc I felt too crowded. I just sleep on my left side with one leg extended and one bended (switching legs) just do whatever feels comfortable. Now that my body is use to the changes its much easier, but I have a feeling it will be short lived considering my belly is starting to now grow. 15wks 3days.

I sleep on my left side he likes the right sideand I have to sit up a little thank god for my huge stuff bear cause I can position it just right where if I try pillows or body pillows they don't sit right no matter how much i adjust them and u move u have to readjust them again which takes for ever with my stuff bear it dont do that it stays how I positioned it unless i totally move off the bed and it does not take as long to reposition it I am a belly sleeper too but have adjusted my sleeping position so o don't wake up hurting like hell but as soon as pregnancy is over back to belly it was this way with my first pregancy and after it

I'm 34 + 3 and idk when the last time I got sleep was, I'm constantly shoving a pillow get and there and I have rls. My daughter likes the right side of my belly so I have to lay on my right side but then that gives me like a pulling sensation in my left side for all the weight...one more additional problem, is I always here'll like I can't breathe. You're still early, but it definately gets much worse. As one of my gf says " everything after 30 wks s u c k s"...lol

My body has adjusted with the pregnancy.  It was hard at first but once it was just no longer possible I just had to deal with it. I use a body pillow now which helps a lot. Can't wait to go back to sleeping on my stomach again

Wow! You got a long way to go. I started being uncomfortable at 25 weeks pregnant.  I only use my head pillows. The pregnancy pillows didn't work for me. Recently, I traded sides on the bed with my husband and that has helped. I'm a belly sleeper also. I have been sleeping on my side with the upper knee in the bed so that their is not pressure on my belly.
