So I have had a lot of problem while being pregnant.  My due date was Jan 24 but I gave birth to a 2 pound boy on Nov 8th. He is icu and will be there for a while. Has ANYONE had a premie baby of know someone who has if so please comment and give me some hope

My godson was born at 24 weeks weighing 1 lb 6 oz and my cousin was born at 25 weeks at 1 lb 14 oz. They are 10 and 12 years old now and perfectly healthy.  Stay strong.  I will pray for your tiny little one :).

I My husband was about 3 months early and he was born in 1984. He was 1.5 lbs and both of his lungs collapsed and he nearly died. He was very lucky his mom was on drugs and did not know till she was dropping him in a bathroom floor. Back then he really should not have survived but he did.

I hope your baby does good, I have had a child fighting to survive for different reasons but they were sure she would die. She survived but it was very hard to watch and so sad. No mother should go through watching her child having to fight for life. Good luck and my prayers are with you, your family and your sweet baby.

My sister was born around 7 month mark was about 3 pounds and is about yo have her 34th birthday... I know technology has improved alot since 1980. Keep your hopes up and stay positive

My aunt had a 1 pound baby and some ounces I dont recall how many but she was born at 27wks and days. It was truly a miracle she was in nicu for a couple months, with tubes every where, she is now 7 and very smart, bright little girl.♡sending lots of prayers, and positive energy your way. Technology and medicine is so advance now a days, they will get him strong and healthy in no time♡ Stay positive♡

I had a boy at 31weeks and  2 days. He stayed in the hospital for a  month and 2 days. He pulled though with the help of the Lord

My younger brother was a preemie. My mom said he was born about 2 1/2 months early. I was young but I remember he was is the hospital for a month or so before he was brought home & he was so small. He is now in his 20's & 6' 4" tall.

My 11 yr old was born at 32 weeks. She was 3.3 went down to 2.13. She came home after a month and a half. It took a few years for her to catch up growth wise, but you would never know it know. Just stay strong and be there as much as you can, he knows your there. He will be okay and so will you!! Good luck to you both.

There are other mothers in the nicu- worried like you, maybe scared,  maybe alone. I once worked at a daycare that had 4 medically fragile babies because the moms had bonded in the nicu. Reach out. Every baby is unique, and there is no sense borrowing worry. Find support and know that you can make it through anything if you have the will and the faith

There was a baby in the UK born at 15 oz - not even 1lb! Modern technology is amazing and babies like yours survive and thrive every day. One day at a time Momma!

My cousin had her baby at 32 weeks after a hard pregnancy.....she is now a healthy 2month old lil angel...she didn't have to stay in the hospital ...got to come ho.e with her mom. Just pray arms have faith your baby will be fine

Friends of mine had twins at 29 weeks.  Both girls are healthy and perfect - they turned 9 this year.

I know someone who had a baby at 25wks, approximately 900g, was given a 5% chance. Baby is still on oxygen but recently would have been 40wks and graduated from nicu to special care nursery and should be home for Christmas :)

My Friend Had BOTH Her Kids Extremly Early (Before 30W) And They Were Both In NICU For A while ..
Her Boy Weighed 2lbs 7oz And Is Now A Healthy Insane Talkative Lil 2yer Old.

Both my cousins were 3 months early when they were born (in the early 90's). They were each a little over 2 pounds at birth. Neither one had any long term problems and are both beautiful intelligent college graduates now. Good luck mama.

My baby was early but not that early...I had her at 35 weeks... She was 5.9 pounds....I hope everything goes well with your son
