Postpartum question - don't want to hear rude comments!!

I am just about 6 weeks pp and no period yet. I was done bleeding about 1 week pp and at 3 weeks hcg was out of system. I mistakenly had sex at 2-3 weeks pp and a couple other times since. I was partially breastfeeding but because of my reduction i can't properly breast feed and they weren't positive that would effect my cycle etc like exclusively breastfeeding. Any who boobs are a little more tender then before and I'm having a bit of brown discharge here and there and have had a fair amount of naseua the last week or so. I have taken a test and it was negative. I know there is a chance because your most fertile etc after birth but I can't get into my ob until my 6 week check for my bc. Just wondering if you ladies think my symptoms are pregnancy related or just stress or something?!?

also you cant have symptoms without hcg in your system so most likely your not pregnant if youre getting negative

Request a blood test if you feel it might be too early to show up in your urine. At least to be sure before being put on birth control you may not even need.

Oh ok. When -most Likely- would a test show positive if I've been having symptoms for a week ish?

At my doc they automatically give you a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy at your 6 week checkup before giving you any form of birth control. But it sounds as though you could be prego.

Ok, I'm asking ob for a test Thursday when I go... Do you think it would have been positve already or too early?

Most likely you are pregnant. I can almost guarantee it if it was unprotected.
