Pregnant w/TWINS!!

Ok so this is my 4th pregnancy and I am SUPER nervous.....#1-because of course I just found out that I'm having twins but more importantly for other medical reasons. I'm almost 31, I had a m/c @ 17wks on 2/14/14 (so I RLY hate V-Day now), and I have a thyroid condition. I was told that the last 3 reasons all put me as a high risk this time around. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Also, morning sickness and nausea are killing me. I can honestly say that it has never been this bad lol. Have any of you ladies have/had severe nausea? If so, what helps you? I'm having trouble keeping h2o down and crackers don't seem to help!  =*(

Congrats on the twins! I too am pregnant with twins (35 weeks) and my first trimester was awful.....I was so sick I lost almost 15 pounds. Oddly enough chewing ice and ice cold water seemed to help. Dr also prescribed Zofran which helped a bit. Having twins alone puts you in a higher risk catergory and I am sure your Dr will take good care of you......good luck

I also get very sick for about the first 18 to 20 weeks. Its awful. I lost 17 lbs during that time with my last baby. My doctor gives me 8mg of zofran. The higher dose seemed to help a little bit. Sleep through it when you can. If you cany keep anything  down at all it might be worth talking to ur OB about going in for iv fluids. They can make you feel a lot better.

My 2nd pregnancy was twins and with all 3 pregnancies I've had horrible morning sickness. It didn't help me, but I was told ginerale, ginger root in hot tea, peppermint. Medication wise they had me on zofran, promethazine, and benadryl. Carried my twins until they induced at 38 weeks and they are now 17 months and we are expecting again.

Thanks everyone!  Ginger Ale and flat Sprite seem to help a bit over the past few hours. My husband laughed at me because this was a really rough weekend and no matter what I did or tried I felt so weird! It was like when I ate anything, it wouldn't make it to my stomach  so I felt like I was starving! But I just ate and I felt over stuffed too?! If that wasn't enough I was nauseous but not to the point I'd say yea...I feel sick. He thinks that each of the twins wanted something different. I think it's kinda funny tbh! =)

I'm also pregnant with twins. When I was in the nausea stage, nothing really seemed to help. However, I would carry ginger candies with me and those would help a little.

I heard that morning sickness is a good sign too. Does that mean it's a bad sign if you don't get morning sickness?

I had horrible morning sickness with all 3 of my pregnancys I lost so much weight with our 3 if I didn't take unisom before I went to bed I couldn't go through my day. Unisom is a sleeping pill you can get them at Wal-Mart they are 100% safe for pregnant women.I asked my ob before I took any. I hope this helps. Good luck hun..Oh and lots of ginger ale :)
