Progressing slowly?

I been having small contractions ever since 1am and it's noe 10:37pm and the contractions are a little more painful but still not close enough like for me to go to the hospital. I'm 40w+2d as for today and at my last appointment which it was last Thursday I was completely closed not dilated or effaced at all. Those this mean that I'm progressing slowly? I still don't want to go to the L&D because I know they will send me home as my contractions are not that close. Any input will be appreciated.

Totally same here. Im 40+ 3  tomorrow, and Have not had contractions be repetitive so havnt gone in since i don't want to be sent Back home but go in when its actually time. That's my same question, if im progressing slowly ..i was 1-2cm last Friday.

Well kinda same boat. Im 38+1 dilated at1cm as of this passed friday. I went a whole week of everyday having b.h. contractions starting on new years eve. Then a whole day straight of b.h. every 3hrs. I get induced this monday due to gestational diabetes and a blood disorder. Hang in there mama. Its coming with the more cramps you feel. :-)

Your probably starting to dilate. Be patient it will happen. Im in the same boat. :/
